Technical Sales Specialist
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end sales process for scientific and technological products, from marketing to sales closure.
- Drive sales targets by supporting government laboratories, research and academic institutions, and private industrial scientific laboratories.
- Analyze customer requirements and recommend appropriate products based on technical and scientific knowledge.
- Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers through regular visits, seminars, and product demonstrations.
- Collaborate with Field Applications Specialists to demonstrate product capabilities and support product installations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and market developments.
Requirements
- Strong scientific knowledge in molecular biology, cellular biology, genomics, and/or analytical testing methods including spectroscopy and chromatography.
- Laboratory experience and hands-on skills are an advantage but not mandatory.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and own a car.

Technical Sales Representative
Responsibilities
- End-to-end sales processes from marketing to selling technological and scientific products to the scientific laboratory customers including government labs, research and academic customers
- As well as private industrial scientific laboratories with the objective of meeting and exceeding sales targets / goals.
- The applicant should have technical expertise and in-depth scientific knowledge of molecular, cellular, genomics and/ or analytical testing including spectroscopy and chromatography methods
- Having laboratory skills and experience would be an advantage but not critical
- By analyzing customer needs and using your technical knowledge to explain product features and benefits you would be able to make recommendations for relevant products
- Building, developing new accounts/customers and maintaining relationships with clients through regular touch points such as customer visits, seminars, and/ or product demos
- Required to work with the Field Applications Specialist to demonstrate our product capabilities, oversee product installation and staying on top of industry trends
Requirements
- Possess Degree in the Sciences (Chemistry/Biochemistry/Biotechnology)
- Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience
- Strong analytical and communication skills with strong commercial disposition
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Laboratory experience would be an added advantage
- Able to start work immediately preferred
- Applicants must own a car and a valid driver’s license
